Beatrix Potter Birthday (July 28)

July 28th marks the birth (1866) of beloved children’s author and illustrator, Beatrix Potter. Not only did she document the natural world so lovingly in both her whimsical and botanical illustrations/observations—it was in the latter, she would also prove to be an accomplished mycologist.
