Beatrix Potter Birthday (July 28)

July 28^th marks the birth (1866) of beloved children’s author and illustrator, Beatrix Potter. Not only did she document the natural world so lovingly in both her whimsical and botanical illustrations/observations—it was in the latter, she would also prove to be an accomplished mycologist.
