The University Archives (housed at Steenbock) has a collection
of more than 3500 historic films that capture the life and times of
UW-Madison’s students and staff. As part
of the Friends of the Libraries series celebrating treasures from the
collections, you can enjoy a free screening of clips from films of the 1930s
through the 1970s. In addition to the
screening, University Archivists David Null and Vicki Tobias will be on-hand to share
anecdotes and to moderate discussion.
The screening and discussion will take place in the Memorial Library Commons, Room 460; refreshments will be provided.
