Who’s that handsome creature reading up on Camp Randall’s illustrious history? Why it’s our one and only treasured university mascot and, now, advocate for the pleasures of reading, Bucky!UW-Madison Libraries, in cooperation with the Wisconsin Center for the Book, have created posters and bookmarks to promote reading within the Madison campus and community. (The poster even traveled to Washington DC for distribution to attendees of the National Book Festival).
The Athletic Department and its team players will also take the poster to area elementary schools to share some “Bookin it with Bucky” reading time.
Collect a bookmark from campus libraries or request posters by placing a request at bucky@library.wisc.edu.
