The Council of Wisconsin Libraries and UW System's Office of Learning and Information Technology established the digital collections repository in 2001 to provide digital access to significant resources from its academic libraries. A menu of these digital collections is available at: http://uwdc.library.wisc.edu/collections.htmlThe currently featured resource, History of Wisconsin Agriculture and Rural Life, highlights a selection of documents from 1870 through 1945. Digital content for this collection is informed by the bibliography, Wisconsin Agriculture and Rural Life: A Bibliography of Primary and Secondary Material Published through 1945, that was generated to satisfy the Wisconsin portion of the National Preservation Project for Agricultural Literature, a program of the United States Agricultural Information Network (USAIN).
