Manage your research using EndNote. Wednesday's workshop will cover the basic features of the EndNote software including organizing, searching and sorting records, importing records from MadCat and journal article databases and preparing bibliographies using a word processor ('cite while you write').

RefWorks in a Nutshell, November 1 (12:15-1:45)

Organize and manage your research with RefWorks. RefWorks is a software product, supported by UW-Madison Libraries, that enables you to create and to manage a personal database of research information. This drop-in workshop will address the basic features of the RefWorks product including organizing records, importing records from MadCat and journal databases and preparing bibliographies.

Use Google like an expert. This workshop will review how you can use Google for your academic research by harnessing advanced search features and Google Scholar. Learn how you can link Google Scholar to UW-Madison's network of full-text articles. Hands-on practice will be incorporated.
