Keep on Top of the Literature!

Would you like to receive regular email messages that supply you with new citations on a topic of interest? If so, then consider email alerting services. Many of the library's databases to the research literature permit you to automate a search that will pull citations when the database is updated--that is, when new content has been added.

Come speak with a liaison librarian if you would like assistance with selecting a database alerting service or with constructing the search strategy.

CAB Abstracts--Archive available to 1910!

Historical research just became a bit easier. CAB Abstracts, one of the most comprehensive indexes of research literature in agriculture and veterinary medicine, has just been expanded. Until recently, the online version covered literature published since 1973. Now nearly 2 million additional records have been added, covering the literature from 1910 to 1972. Research in the Archive includes such topics as biodiversity, pest control, food production, animal diseases, plant and animal breeding, and many more.

To access the database, use the library's new E-Resource Gateway.
