Faculty of 1000
Looking for some fresh journal club reading? If so, then consider Faculty of 1000, a literature awareness tool featuring important articles in the biological sciences as reviewed and ranked by peer researchers.
The database can be browsed by discipline or by article "top 10", "most-viewed", or "hidden jewels"--those exceptional or must-read articles appearing in what the product has determined to be less-widely read journals beyond a particular audience.
Records to articles can be selected and conveniently exported to personal database products such as EndNote, RefWorks and Reference Manager. The database can also be customized by the individual user to store search strategies and to email article alerts from these strategies or from the user's preferred disciplines.
Faculty of 1000 can be selected, by name, from the Libraries' E-Resource Gateway.
