10 Days of Career Services!

CALS Career Services will host "10 Days of Career Services", January 23 through February 3, 2012. These ten days of walk-in events, services (resume printing!) and workshops are designed to prepare students for two upcoming career fairs, the Public Service Fair (January 26) and the UW Spring Career Fair (January 31).

Career and Internship Fair (Sept 15)

CALS, in partnership with the School of Business, the College of Letters and Sciences, the School of Human Ecology and the Wisconsin Alumni Association, is pleased to welcome students to participate in the fall semester Career and Internship Fair, Thursday, September 15. The fair will be held at the Kohl Center from 4:30 until 8:00 PM.

Students who are interested in attending can see a full list of companies by logging into their BuckyNet account and looking under the "events" tab.

CALS Undergraduate Lab Fair, April 13

Are you looking for an opportunity to work in a campus research lab? If so, then save the date for the CALS Undergraduate Lab Fair, April 13 (1:00 – 4:00 PM, Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery).

This event, offered by CALS Career Services in conjunction with the "Just in Time" Job Fair, will enable students to meet with campus labs that recruit student staff.

Lab managers and research staff who may wish to have a free table at this event are encouraged to contact Maria McGinnis, 608-262-3460.

CALS Career Services is pleased to offer ten days of career-oriented events in anticipation of the Spring Career and Internship Fair, Tuesday, January 25 at the Kohl Center (4:30-8:00 PM).

CALS Career Fair (February 19)

The CALS Spring Career & Internship Fair will be held on Thursday, February 19, from 3:00-7:00 PM in the Engineering Centers Building (atrium). Undergraduate and graduate students in agriculture, agribusiness, general sciences, food sciences, natural resources and applied social sciences should find this a good opportunity to visit with employers regarding career opportunities.

The CALS Career Services staff is available to assist students with finding career and internship opportunities and with preparing resumes and cover letters.
